I am fed up with art theifts.
I'll obviousally continue with my art, but it sure as hell wont be seen anywhere public. And, actually, i was going to set up my own studio around Christmas time drawing portraits of pets, drawing cards and stuff like that as well with a subscription on DA too. I guess that idea is officially scraped..
At first when i heard about this stealing art shit, i couldnt believe how stupid and selfish someone would be to do such a thing. But hey, there are people like that out there.
Asking permission to use one of my pictures, i would have said "YES! Go for it. Glad you asked!"
And i wouldnt have thought anything else of it.
But when people take it without asking, thats what gets under my skin..
The videos are also shit. (Sorry, its my opinion here.)
Its a scrable of fan art with a corny song and its getting reviews like... OH MY GAWD. Squirrelflight is SO cutew! OMG. Or OH. You forgot Whitepaw BECASE SHE IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ADORBALE!!!!!!!
Like.. no. What the fuck? Sorry for my language but i am REALLY pissed here. I also have a feeling that i am not only speaking for myself but for alot of other artists who were forced to only make art for family and friends so it doesnt get stolen, edited and claimed by someone else.
Another thing ive noticed with these YouTube videos (thats where most of my artwork have been posted..) Is people will start critizing the work.. like... Why is Bluestar's fur so long? Or, Squirrelflight doesnt have a white paw!
Well, for one: Its not Bluestar that your looking at, its Greystripe. And for two: Squirrelflight's paw could be white because thats how the artist (THE REAL ARTIST, WHY DONT YOU ASK THE REAL GOD DAMN ARTIST FOR ONCE.) interperted the character.
Some art theft cant answer those questions.
And for gods sake, If your going to post someone's art, at least let them stick up for there own bloody asses!
Its like friggin black mail, ya know? A bounch of bullshit.
So yeah. You could add water marks, not allowed right click and all this other shit, but hey.. People still steal the shit, dont they? The only one way to really be sure none of your shit is being stolen is by not posting it at all.
So I guess i wont be talking to you all later.
And you know what? Call me a puss but im standing up for what i can do.

I also must add that on Deviant Art, i have experienced much friendship. I do indeed like the site, but its the people that i like most.. There are so many different views that i have learned about and many friends i have made from around the world. Thank you all for the support and friendship. You are what really makes DA, DA. I guess that all of you have known that ive been gone for quiet the while, but im back now. :F Summer is here, which means no more studying and no more cadets. That ALSO means much more time to spend drawing... I cant wait, and ive already started. Sorry i disappeared for months on end. In other news, i won the Marion Hollohan Art Award. I recieved a plaque and 100 dollars worth of Dawn Bakers (A local artist here) art lessons. I dont know how beneficial this will be, since her media is acrylics and mine is traditional pencils but whatever. Hopefully she wont get to frustrated with my non-painting abilities. (I cant paint for shit, no joke... I dont even know how to handle the brush. ) So she'll have her hands full. Im surprised i won the award, since i dont even know what its for but when each grade 9 class graduates its given. So.. Whatever. Im not complaining. I also appologize if i do not respond immediatly to any notes (not that ive been getting any) or messages or deviations... I sort of have alot of shit piled up from a few months, ya know? I'll read them all, but not promising il respond. Have a great summer ya'll!
